What is our purpose and why are we here?

We are here to live.

Life is what we all have to live for. Sounds sort of silly but after you take away all the goals of money, career, social status, ... you end up with just the goal to live. Most animals already know this. Us humans just think too much sometimes. This idea of "just living" does hit home when we are terminally ill or have someone who is or has past away. Life takes on a new meaning.

I don't consider myself a very wise man nor am I a very intelligent individual. I have seen a few things on this planet that have shown to me that life is wonderful thing that must truly be enjoyed.

It sometimes appears to me that the last moments most people have on this earth is when they see the most clearly. It is a shame that we do not all see this clearly for all the other time spent here. It is a difficult task but we can all work at remembering: The meaning of Life is to live and to live means to love everything that there is to living... but, again, words just cloud this wonderfully simple concept. So, on that note...
